Hydro Jetting

When a snake just punches a hole through the problem, hydro jetting scours the whole pipe clean, grease, scale, roots, and all.

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clean the entire interior of a pipe, not just poke through a clog. It's the right tool for recurring blockages, grease-heavy lines, mineral scale, and root intrusion, the things that keep coming back after a standard snaking. The result is a pipe that flows like new and stays clear far longer.

  • High-pressure grease & scale removal
  • Root intrusion clearing
  • Restaurant & commercial grease lines
  • Camera assessment before jetting
  • Longer-lasting than standard snaking

What hydro jetting removes

High-pressure jetting blasts out years of accumulated grease, mineral scale, sludge, and tree roots that a cable auger can only punch through. Because it cleans the full diameter of the pipe rather than boring a small hole, flow is fully restored and the line resists re-clogging much longer.

When jetting is the right call

Recurring clogs that keep coming back after snaking, restaurant and commercial grease lines, older sewer laterals with root intrusion, and lines with heavy scale buildup. For a simple one-off clog, standard drain cleaning is usually enough, we won't upsell you to jetting you don't need.

Safe, assessed jetting

On older or fragile pipes, jetting isn't automatically the answer, so we assess the line first, often with a camera, to confirm it's the right approach. If the pipe itself is damaged, that's a sewer repair conversation, not a jetting one.

Frequently asked questions

What is hydro jetting?

Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clean the entire inside of a pipe, removing grease, scale, sludge, and roots. Unlike a cable that punches through a clog, jetting restores the full pipe diameter.

How is hydro jetting different from snaking?

Snaking clears a path through a clog; jetting cleans the whole pipe wall. For recurring or severe buildup, jetting lasts far longer.

Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?

For pipes in sound condition, yes. We assess the line first, often with a camera, to make sure jetting is appropriate, especially on older plumbing.

How often should I have my lines jetted?

Homes with recurring issues benefit from periodic jetting; commercial kitchens with grease lines often set a regular schedule to prevent backups. We'll recommend an interval based on your situation.
